Classic Kevin Walz hand knotted Shakti weave rug. A transitional Kevin Walz design made with the finest Himalayan wool and accented with silk using our premium Shakti weav. The pattern of this contemporary rug is taken from a basket weave design and would work well in most settings including transitional, modern and even traditional homes. As one of our popular designer rugs, the Rag Weave had been produced in more than twenty color combinations. The Rag Weave Mardi Gras rug encompasses a bright blue and green palette with a soft brown woven into the pattern at both ends of the design. Golden green and navy blue silk accents create the illusion of a woven pattern and provide a shimmering accent to the carpet. The Shakti weave in this design has a smooth finish and pile height around.75cm.

Our extremely handmade rugs are made with as much care as possible. When choosing a rug, please be aware that slight pattern changes may happen, but the rug will still look beautiful! In other words, a 3x5 may be slightly different than a 12x16.
Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
